When you're ordered to raise you hands above your head, that should be the only thing you do. Not reach for a (fake) gun in your pants
Sure 20 mpg 15k miles at $3.8 per gallon is $2850. But this posts example over 5 years of driving is ~$26k versus ~$14k in yours
Was hoping someone would point this out. Most people I know who drive that much have cars with >> 22 mpg. It's a pretty ridiculous example
Yeah I don't trust that $6300. Most likely for a family, not a single person.
But for real: This. I swear I've never seen a guy remove a shirt like these gifs. You'd just ruin your shirt
The reaction seemed a bit over the top. Maybe her general creepiness wasn't conveyed. I think taxidermy on random dead animals is weirder.
I'm no expert but I think you needed to submit to gallery on that? Either way I think it's time to burn the pool
Certainly no expert but: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_recluse the internet doesn't seem too conclusive on this
I think that was said because it was from an online dating website.
You said "effective at stopping domestic terrorism" and also emphasized "ONE" bombing. Sounds like you already think it's effective
You were pointlessly downvoted and I don't know why. I have heard this before too. If anyone can show me otherwise I'd appreciate it
You must live in a wonderful place that is not representative of the US as a whole. If that's Seattle, good for you and for the city
Nobody makes $5bn a year in salary. Nobody. Salary doesn't work like that. Perhaps equity for Zuckerberg/Gates, but not salaries.
CEO's do not make $5bn/year. Don't be foolish. Average for ftn 500 is 10 million (2012) This is less than 9 of the Yankees salaries.
Sure, but that underrates actual income levels because children do not work. Look at the original link to see per adult.
I have never heard Seattle to rank all that highly. And I don't know how that would quantify in being able to handle it, but we will see
I personally think that is a much more reasonable amount and would be far more supportive of that than $15. But Seattle can see how it goes
"Pretend" I take economics courses? Seriously? You strike me as more basing knowledge on whims and opinion pieces online.
I am all for increasing national income, but doubling federal min-wage leaves a lot of holes for people.
I see where you are missing the point. Living-wage does not grant disposable income. People at sub-living wage have "negative" dis-income
Opinion-ed piece: great for learning new things, but certainly not absolute facts. I'll follow up in a PM because 140 characters is too few.
You clearly struggle with reading. I said economics courses. I take courses. I can find studies on the BASICS of economics if necessary.
Economic courses and firsthand experience. Literally, elasticity is a staple of economics. I'll read your article now.
Small businesses (generally) target disposable income. And low earners have less of it (or more common: none).
Yes, but it doesn't work like that. If you gave a poor person $100 who cannot afford to eat or live, is he going to buy crafts or food? 1/2
Big businesses and small shops are not synonymous. And increased salaries do not get evenly distributed to all industries
businesses can get away with paying more because they are (generally) not as exposed to economic fluctuations.
No studies, but I have actively looked into starting up my own business. The costs are overwhelming for small establishments. Larger 1/2
