Oh man I bet the foraging is going to be great after the showers we've been having this week. I'll need to find some good foraging spots around the bay.
My guess would be that because lower case Ms and W's in brush calligraphy require a bit more space - the capital M makes it more legible... but honestly there's probably no major reason other than preference

I haven't watched enough times to figure this out, but does any character use a LS with more of a thrust-forward approach? Think fencing. I've mostly just seen swiping and cutting, and a robot(?) who literally helicopters multiple swords, so I don't know!
#1 Probably bears or some other creature that could climb and withstand bee stings, then human ancestorprobably wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

Not a professional, but it seems like they did a rough cut and will probably come in with a router after to shape the edges. Is joke.

Nice bold color, brushstrokes, and sharp edges. It's definitely Basquiat-esque, but that's more of a compliment than a critique.

Reverse grip in a smaller space, or with a surprise wakizashi attack wouldn't be so bad. Here though, it's just a handicap.
