To elaborate on my answer, the model I linked should work with Cardboard and WebVR (Occulus, Vive). It's all set-up but didn't try yet :)

You're right! I changed directions. Originally it was meant to resemble a jarrarium/ planted tank :) But the new ones will be more dry!

Not a framework, just a really simple, limited engine called "Bitsy". Fun to toy around with sometimes :)
