With my first pic I experimented with diagonal lines for composition. In hindsight I would have tried to keep the top vine in focus or crop it out all together. Also there is a bit lack of subject here.
A tiny plant! Values/ saturation is a bit off, but I love how it looks like a tiny tower :)
Experimenting with composition rules: rule of three, framing and diagonal lines.
While the focus is a bit off on this one, I like how the colors of this mini-world turned out in post processing. Communicates the coldness at that time well imo :)
For this shot I place a LED flashlight facing towards this tree. Idea being that it highlights the interesting curvature and separates the tree from the background. Still the background is a bit busy, a longer focal length would've been better.
A little experiment with framing. Has a bit of lack of subject, but I still like it, as it kinda communicates the forest adventure feeling.
A little alien tree! Bit busy, longer focal length would have been better and/or light up the foreground to get a darker background in relation.
More experiments with the little flashlight. Here I placed it on a mossy tree.
It created some really nice bokeh :)
And last but not least here is a shoot of a little moss forest on another branch.
