Supporting someone who is making wrong choices on the pretext they're being themselves because you don't wanna hurt them isn't love imo. :)
Disagree. It's to want the best for someone: it can mean not accepting them in their current state, and encouraging them to change.

Being held accountable for what you say would rather be showing you why you're wrong/biased with facts.
If you're being booed, cussed at, or banned, it mostly means that your audience doesn't feel the need to use arguments to disprove your pov.
