I like dogs, games, and being average. Thanks for your curiosity, sorry for the lack of payoff.

Speechless

It just means you've been rendered speechless, as in gagged and cannot speak. A positive "I have no words"

For any number of reasons businesses would have employees working when not open to clientele. They could be cleaning or preparing for after the holidays. Maybe they were taking down the christmas decorations.

Telling someone you don't want to be exclusive is not the same as saying you just want to be friends.

Not really no, because when arguments are made in bad faith, engaging with them grants them a form of legitimacy. It's like the combatting anti trans rhetoric where people say "still not a drag queen." You're basically being baited into turning raping children into a discussion worth having, and there's no upside for you, because it's not a real position, they know it's indefensible, but want your help making that water seem murkier than it is.

I could understand that interpretation, and would certainly even believe you could be correcy on the artists intent, but I would argue that the inclusion of garfield in the comic would give us three distinct lines in that case, Jon, Garfield, Pipe, so feels like a miss. My interpretation gives us the credit of the use of a single ironic punchline to two different overlapping jokes/setups.

The first three panels follow the "loss" meme format, and the final panel is the joke, as it does not follow the expected pattern. The secondary joke is more that "Loss" was about losing a baby, it was a sudden and dramatic storyline, so Jon in this comic is rushing to the hospital concerned, only to find Garfield up to his usual hijinks.

They don't need to be clever if they're being given instructions. Musk had reportedly been in regular contact with Putin since 2022.

For sure, I didn't mean to imply I disagreed with the notion, only that this particular game isn't a great example of that issue among the general F2P market. At least not yet anyhow.

The model is full free to play outside of cosmetics and sprays and junk. Everything is expensive if you spend on things you don't need.

52% of adults in Philadelphia are functionally illiterate. That's a whole lot of failing individuals.

Marhalls, Home Goods, virtually every supermarket I have ever been in has a general kitchen utensil section as well, usually in proximity of the cleaning products section. Even the Grocery Outlet here has spatulas and pans and junk.

Well, I hope the market someday provides you an opportunity to obtain one without the laundry list of moral reasons that you shouldn't.

When someone makes a judgment of your character, they're generally referring to your moral character, not your ability to be charismatic.

In 1980 spending $1.00 on eggs, would be like spending $3.00 on eggs today. Blue tracks actual price, red tracks inflation adjusted price. Overall it's telling you that the price of eggs is sort of consistent in regards to your purchasing power, and is being blown out of proportion for political reasons.

Pollsters call my cell phone pretty much every election cycle. It probably helps that I take the poll, though.

I really want to understand your point. You doubt that it costs 233k to raise a kid because we should all be raising our kids cheaply like the neighbor you hate? What are you advocating for exactly?

Well I hope you give it a shot sometime, Dropout is well worth the subscription price for Game Changer and Very Important People alone, in my opinion. There's boatloads of good pen and paper gaming done as well, if you're into that sort of content.

The premise of the presentation was that vegetables were made up term to better advertise canned foods instead of calling them tubers and roots.

The premise of the video series is a fictional society of intellectuals who present on a variety of topics relevant to their interests. It is meant to be taken humorously, as they are all improv comedians.

It's a play on the popular dinner party game you may have seen on social media.

He meant it as a joke, as in Sanction doesn't sufficiently describe the level of approval. He is saying it is not only allowed but encouraged, so suggests a word more fitting.

I don't think so in California, unless for some reason you legitimately thought the tow truck driver aimed to take your life. You can only respond with appropriate force to defend yourself against it. You'd have to make a believable case that you thought you were being kidnapped and murdered instead of incorrectly repo'd on or something.

On that much, we agree. I am specifically disagreeing with how this sentiment was voiced and warning of the negative consequences of its framing.
