This is the exact reason we have the 2nd Amendment. It's a shame the party that worships it and cums from reading it is the party we need to use it on while the party that needs to use it is irrationally terrified of the tools thereof.
I lean hard left on most issues, but 2nd Amendment? I don't think it goes far enough.
That's why you dont' tell them you use anything online. You're a luddite. It's also why you pseudonym up online.
Not in my daily.
IF only we could have a third Bill Clinton term.
can get 10 year car loans these days if you really like paying interest....also my ride is 54 years old with no signs of impending doom to be found. Paid off too, because it's inherited and grampa paid it off 50+ years ago haha.
So roughly half the mileage I put on my 54 year old truck annually. I did 22,000 miles in my grandfather's 71 Chevy C10 in the year I've had it dailyable so far.
And yet my 54 year old truck is just laughing at having to drive 80 miles a day 5 days a week all year round all weather.....
has this come across Louis Rossman's desk yet?>
At this point I don't give a shit if they release the files or not. It won't accomplish anything. The Justice System in this country has been so thoroughly skullfucked that at this point nobody'd get put in jail over any of the awful shit they prove went down anyway.
Protests clearly don't work. If they did we wouldn't still be running full throttle down shitstain avenue with wish.com fascists at the wheel.

1, mandatory voting would not have helped us here. Some people just don't give two shits and will tick whatever box gets them out of the fine. You're not improving the quality of elections by FORCING people to vote, merely fluffing turnout numbers.
2, what's there to understand here? One party's incompetent, one party is LITERALLY FUCKING NAZIS. We don't live in complex times right now.
I want the benefits in the meme, but I'm not willing to put down everythign that makes my life worth living to get them. I've made do without until now, so if the cost of having those things is giving up my classic car daily, my guns, my fuel powered RCs, and having to deal with shitty electric lawn tools, then it's a price too steep to pay.
Is it really that unreasonable to want to combine the good parts of Tennessee and the good parts of California?
Electric lawn tools FUCKING SUCK ASS. My mom bought an EGO E-strimmer and it's such an umitigated pile of garbage we stopped using it and went back to the gas Stihl I literally garbage picked a few years ago. And, yes, gas price differences are substantial; right now I pay about 2.50-2.75 a gallon but in Commiefornia that same exact gallon of gas would be priced at European levels.
Why the fuck would I want that?
Meanwhile, here in mid TN, I can put a Model T's engine in a 2026 Corolla, throw a plate on it, and drive it to work like it's nothin'. I can delete and backdate and swap whatever I want into whatever I want. I don't have to worry about the parts I put on it being 'certified' or 'CARB legal'. I can just make them myself if I want to.
I also quite like plinking things. I've got a couple rifles, a shotgun, they're fun to target shoot with.
Vast majority of my RCs are fuel burners.
California's infamously assholish about car modification. You want to swap engines? Ok fine it has to be a NEWER engine than what you took out. Can't throw a 4-barrel smallblock from 1967 in a car from 2006. Can't adjust ECU programming to fix problems that the manufacturer won't fix. Can't put headers on something even if it's just to make it sound good unless those headers have some CARB red tape and a 40% price hike attached.
I disable automatic QR scanning on my phone as part of its initial setup.
I would be perfectly fine with the free healthcare excluding anyone who thinks it shouldn't be a thing. If they don't want it, they shouldn't get it, yanno? They can always change their mind later and get it, but if they don't want it, tough shit.
I will sweat if I'm sitting in a 68º room doomscrolling youtube. I hate sweating. It feels horrible to be sweaty. Erego, I set the A/C on 'fuck you I want frost in july' mode.
Vault.
I also don't want higher gas prices, a complete skullfucking of my plinking hobby, oppresively restrictive regulations on my automotive hobby, land/housing costs being among the highest in the nation, etc.
Sorry, Gav, I don't want California'd. If I did I'd move there. I like the stuff you mentioned, but the stuff you didn't mention is a huge problem for me.
Fun fact the 2014 Challenger I was driving before I got grampa's truck only did about 20mpg while costing 3x more to insure and eating $220 tires like candy. Fuck that car.
I get to drive a piece of history to work and I spend so much less on insurance, maintenance, etc that it really doesn't matter that it only gets 18mpg beyond the fact that the engine's in a good state of tune.

Hell that's the only reason I even track economy at all. I'll see a carb issue or something show up on the fuel receipts before I see it show up anywhere else.
I'm not afraid to use it as a truck but I don't try to make money out of it.
18 miles per gallon actually. You'd be pretty close if it was the typical V8/automatic people put in these things, but no. I've got an i6 and a manual. It doesn't use that much gas.
Ease of loading/unloading, also, back in the day it was not uncommon for farmers to load a cow right into the bed and drive it to market like that. The cows don't trip and fall if the fenders are outside of the cargo area.
I like metallic blue lol
Mine's a 3 on the Tree and I don't have that problem. I can stop in any gear, shift to 1st, and carry on no problem. Methinks you had some wear issues that I don't yet have if you had to stop in 1st to take off in 1st.
Love it! These things last forever and a day if one takes care of 'em.
It was pretty dry
71. 73 was the first year for the squarebodies.

Another Mortske fan eh?
