My 5 year old T1D eats more cheese sticks and meat sticks than one would ever think are reasonable!Also, side note… my daughter started a pod a couple months ago and it’s been absolutely amazing!
Amazing!! Starting my own journey. Did you cut out alcohol completely or just decrease substantially. Trying to sort out a plan for myself.

You know what would be great… if the Dept of Health recognized the need and provided services. There are kids I’ve worked with that are beyond the scope of the school setting but they only have support because the DOE exists(ed). Now do they just get nothing?

Granted, I agree that she did intentionally do what she did BUT she is a teenager. Should her poor choice be nationally discussed? There is a reason minors’ names are redacted from public forums. Give the girl consequences and therapy not national condemnation.
Do what you feel you need to honor your connection. It could be sitting in a beautiful place with your chosen family and telling stories, quiet reflection, journaling, creating something, etc. Expressing gratitude and love does not require revisiting/exposing yourself to trauma.
My (near) daily after work walk for ~8 yrs. Miss it every day.
Not nuclear threats from foreign powers… threat from regular ATTACKS on children in schools

Ummmm… this was my reaction to a positive test after peeing on a stick. Literally look up kes at myself in the mirror and said “fuck, I’m pregnant”. Planned and f’ed for it. Still reacted that way

Are most crimes violent crimes or property crimes? Are property crimes committed by evil people or desperate people that needed better housing, education, nutrition, opportunities, etc? Which party promotes using tax funds for those things?!?

Check and see if there is an organization to help women find work. I did that in MI and they were very thankful for some bigger options
I always got hot at my favorite Thai place in HI. Once requested Thai Hot… sniffled and cried through dinner. Regret didn’t fully set in until the next day. Just as hot going in as going out, they say for a reason!
Bring cut up veggies and fruit and snacks. Start doing dishes and laundry. When she objects, tell her to go take a nap. Then get the baby snugs!!
