yeah, because when it comes to fighting stereotypes, somehow the conventions don't apply to biases against asians. I don't get it either. confirmation, just look at the downvotes.

Nope, not at all. With the rate of a dozen men taking down these trees with traditional tools, and with the time needed to create and finish the carvings, the world has more than enough trees. The problem is not with these guys, it's with the national and multinational corporations taking down entire rainforests with armies of construction-grade automated machines to send lumber internationally.

Fuck no, do you not know your history?! East and Southeast Asia still have vivid memories of Japan trying to take over the world. Fuck that.

You think you're being clever by calling out staged videos when in fact you're not getting the joke.

This is legit awesome and I see they're going to a good cause - my only advice: please don't put text squarely in the center where we're trying to enjoy your rocket stove!

nope - that's a shaper. a router on a router table is different. a shaper uses a 'stack' or 'cutters' while a router uses bits. Like the difference b/w a moped and a superbike

Lol, you use that term like it's specific to any one country.

Tbh there's a lot of structural redundancy in modern home construction for a number of reasons.

It entirely depends on the application. This thing isn't new anymore, but it's a great concept. Why do internet pros have to ruin everything for no apparent reason? Gofolks trying to feel better about themselves by putting others down I guess...

Lol, the 'professional' knowledge on the internet...

No doubt, but the big boys don't comprise the majority of the R1s

In your typical R1 university, a 'professor' has a 40-40-20 work load (research, teaching, and service). In other words, teaching isn't even supposed to be half of a prof's responsibilities.
