yeah, because when it comes to fighting stereotypes, somehow the conventions don't apply to biases against asians. I don't get it either. confirmation, just look at the downvotes.

Nope, not at all. With the rate of a dozen men taking down these trees with traditional tools, and with the time needed to create and finish the carvings, the world has more than enough trees. The problem is not with these guys, it's with the national and multinational corporations taking down entire rainforests with armies of construction-grade automated machines to send lumber internationally.

Tbh there's a lot of structural redundancy in modern home construction for a number of reasons.

In your typical R1 university, a 'professor' has a 40-40-20 work load (research, teaching, and service). In other words, teaching isn't even supposed to be half of a prof's responsibilities.
