I get wanting to be correct or realistic in actions and props for the people who are incredibly far into a subject, but at some point the directors have to decide where to institute the rule of cool. Watch Rob Roy for realistic sword fighting and watch the sci-fi space opera for the cool flashy wacky laser sword fighting, personally.

Don't have the clip, but one of my favorites is an NHL ref opening with "You can't do that" in the most disappointed voice I've heard
