There was a political couple here in Canada that actually did this. Met through politics, attended con's as Starfleet officers.

Klee Kai's were invented largely to stop the issue of Husky's being given up. People love the husky look, but cant handle their size.
Question, what's your opinion on something like say, an Alaskan Klee Kai? Theoretically a designer dog, but more a controlled new breed.
I suspect fairly low unemployment. The construction business would be freaking BOOMING 24/7.
