I moved to Aleppo with my family for a year when I was in high school. It was incredible.
I worked at the great court cafe and members room in the British Museum for a while. It sucked but I got loads of free food.
I feel like I dodged a bullet here...
I've lived here a year, I've never yet taken the DLR... I've heard if you can snag the front seats it's quite cool.
I hear the DLR is quite splendid this time of year.
