I understand what you're saying perfectly well. I understand that you clearly somehow don't understand the point of competitive sports. And you clearly don't understand the concept of "unfair advantage".

If the legitimacy of actually winning isn't the point... then what do you mean with your use of the word "competition"? What IS "competition" in your mind, if not to find out who won? Or who didn't win? What else do you think competition is actually for?

As opposed to... how great it is right now? "Wreck" for this guy, might constitute an improvement.

This isn't in the modern question of "Third World" vs. "First World" perspectives. This guy is talking about the Solomon Islands Campaign in early WWII. Where any Army medic (or Corpsman/Doc) worth their salt, SHOULD have known all too well that the place in question was rife with hookworm. The fact he initially got passed around and scapegoated for the fact nobody could spot the obvious, is no less than a medical travesty. A completely inexcusable training failure re. the medical personnel.

But... What else are worms even for? If not for Mucking? I don't understand.

You're missing the part where weak and vulnerable people have nothing to defend themselves from victimization at the hands of Strong Violently Exploitative people, EXCEPT THE TOOLS OF SELF-DEFENSE. Rape, murder, theft, slavery of all kinds, are all fine with you, I expect? Just as long as no GUNS are used to do any of it? 'Cause GUN news is the only kind of news that's bad, by your reading? I've never been able to understand what is the name of the planet you people imagine you're living on.

Yeah, sure 'cause those could never be misused by anybody. Taking away guns can only ever be Good, right? NVM... Don't actually answer that.

So... we can just starve that middle group into poverty, and you don't have to worry about losing anything that mattered? Better we're all just equally Poor, so we don't have anything to disagree about, I guess?

He knows the deep part feels nice. But the edge part is VERY SCARY! What a goober. No, seriously, that is an impressively healthy-looking horse, for a wild one.

That's not why. You... boob.

No, it's not the mere number of pirates. It's the percentage of pirates per capita. The RATE of piracy. Out of the total population of humans, the fraction who are choosing piracy now, compared to the rate in years past has gone DOWN.

*Waves hand vaguely outward in a broad sideways curving sweep, raising both eyebrows expectantly, saying "Well, I mean... See?"

No, he's obviously talking about Tony Rice, the legendary Bluegrass guitarist most famous in the '80s & '90s.

So, you're only "pro-choice" when it's somebody agreeing with YOUR choice for their life. Not their choice about their own?

In short, of the four Presidential Impeachment trials that have been attempted in all of US history, two of them were for Trump. And basically all of them resulted in acquittal.

We don't really have that here. In a Parliamentary system, that's all it takes to make a Prime Minister step down. In our Constitutional system with the Executive and Legislative branches being entirely separate and autonomous, we can't get rid of a President except by Impeachment. Which is a much more involved and drawn-out affair, and much harder to accomplish. So it's only invoked far more rarely, and only for offenses deemed outrageously egregious.

Most of what you're seeing is water vapor condensing from the air due to the sharp discontinuities in air pressure. Same as what you sometimes see with little "clouds" suddenly/intermittently forming in the shock-wave behind/around the wings/body of fighter jets in some high-humidity situations at high sub-sonic speeds.

Nothing wrong with the flag code. That's just a list of the legitimate ways to display it. That says nothing about other legitimate acts like burning it in protest, which contrary to some people's rigid thinking, is also a democratically valid form of "display".

You seem to have maybe missed the part where to a guy like Drumpf, the huge waste of money and time is exactly the whole point. That's literally his positive goal. Because in his mind, spending just shy of a Billion $ on this shit-show, helps prove to himself that's how "important" he is.

Well, first off, stripping it down to the rivets is exactly what they're doing to this thing. Second off, that's probably still not enough to ensure complete security against potential microelectronic spy devices. Such things could conceivably be custom-made to be hidden/disguised under/behind/inside of various kinds of structural metal fittings, and maybe even within the very bolts/rivets themselves.

The only way Emotional Regulation is "learned", is by the mother doing it for the infant when they'e an infant. If you don't learn it before the age of four, you can't "learn" it at all. Failing the emotional-self-regulation process getting built-in before middle childhood, you only get to Repress emotions after that. Which is the root of all social problems.

No he's got plenty of "poker face". Clearly he's just got a complete lack of poker butt.

Art nouveau is way too vague and diverse a category, in both style and application, for a blanket judgement like that to be meaningful. I've seen Art Nouveau that's "Meh...", and Art Nouveau that's stunningly sublime. And there's lots of stuff that's technically incontrovertibly Art Nouveau, but in/on items so commonly accepted and used that we typically don't even bother to take note of them as "Art" at all. Which ironically, is kinda one of the defining attributes of the style.

Simple: Don't own any clothes colored red or white. If everything, including t-shirts, underwear, sheets and towels, are far enough away from white that they won't show transferred dyes, AND there's nothing red in the wash to transfer badly anyway... Then if a bit of dye from your blue jeans transfers onto your gray t-shirts, nobody will be able to notice. Just keep the heavy colors separate for the first two washes when they're new. After that, modern detergents + cool water = non-issue.
