I have this love for fluffy stuff
Being self-aware enough to say "I am not yet stable enough to be dating" is big dick energy. I know this comment is weird. I'm sticking with it.
Fair enough. I appreciate your labors, your dumps are consistently excellent.
#1 I very much enjoy your dumps but there is more and more AI in them. Is this on purpose or is it just hard to sift through when you're regularly putting out large, high-quality dumps?
#31 buddy, c'mon....please no AI
#6 That's disgusting. Separate your recyclables.
Sometimes it's a culture. I drove busses in Ohio for several years, and those drivers are miserable and they want everyone else to be miserable too. Hard to know kindness and courtesy when you've never seen it before.
Thank you, Elliot. May we all be as lucky as he is to have people rally around us even when we can't notice. Thank you for caring, and thank you for letting us know so that we can care, too.
You are very right, but the joke is that his wife's a little crazy. Also, his wife is fairly upset that her dad married someone younger (and in the wife's opinion, hotter) than the wife, and that comes out in unhealthy ways.
There is power in knowing what scenes you don't want to be a part of. Don't feel disheartened, there are many many other ways to meet new people, ways that are far more comfortable and suited to us introverts.
I must admit, so are my knees
Indeed it is, but it still didn't keep my ex-spouse from screaming at my politely disengaged, calm, cookie-baking ass. This post is excellent advice for anyone who doesn't live with their abuser.
OMG that fact is actually fun. I hope I'm sober enough to remember it. I can piss off so many car enthusiasts with this knowledge
Happy birthday! Your videos have made a lot of progress on my arachnophobia. I found a jumping spider on my sleeve last week and I greeted it as a friend and took it outside, then nudged it onto a tree branch when it didn't want to budge.
#29 I have called an emu to me in this way more than once. It has always worked. It also gets you really weird looks at the zoo.
If you think you're giving up, you've got another thunk comin'. You will get through this. Bravery isn't a lack of fear, it's going through the scary thing despite the fear.
"dark folk" is putting it lightly, but I do enjoy his work. "Hell and You" is by far his least offensive song. I hear he puts on a baller show, too!
Sounds like you got that hint just fine! Good job asking first, and congrats!
This is rough, friend. Persevere. You got a reprieve from unemployment and you made a good impression. It wasn't for nothing, and it could be the key to something great in the future.
Your dumps are great, but I have lately been appreciating your wisdoms at the bottom of your posts the most. Thank you for taking the time to organize those thoughts and write them out. They're like little meditations.
I've been training my dog in agility, and I lure him with treats rather than choke him out with a leash. If the pupper doesn't have their "leave it" command (among others), then they need to be in obedience rather than agility.
Keep at it, Cody. Change is hard, and you're being reborn in fire (and yeast). Six months from now, you won't notice that you've changed but you won't recognize the man you are now. This will be worth it.
This was really nice, thank you!
Happy Bird-day, Cody! I think you're going to kick life's ass this year. It'll put up a fight but you're fightier. You must be; you made it this far.
Woah, is your wife getting married??
#5 Tuna Melt has me rolling. I'm in love
I vote that it didn't ruin your streak, you still made a healthy and culturally educational dinner. Don't punish yourself for learning (and teaching)! I'm so impressed by your efforts! Your family is so lucky to have you
You really gonna drop "Worm Drive" on us and not expand on that?? You're gonna do great next week! Keep going! I'm so proud of you!
You can do this, CB! Your work is your gym now. Keep trying, eat lots of protein throughout the day, take care of your body and it will rise to the task. I've also found bringing a positive attitude and just being kind to coworkers helps extend the grace period of "he's new, he's still learning". Fight anxiety with gratitude if you can. I'm so proud of you for making it to your next job!
