The issue is that id verification falls on the provider. It's more expensive to set up a proper system for that than it is for them to just block access from states with laws requiring it. It's not even about people not wanting to tie their ID to that stuff (though that would likely be a complaint if places like PH did have a means of requiring it). But yeah either way VPN gets around it.

If you mean LOM (Laminated Object Manufacturing), it *might* be less prone to breaking, but for sex toys, "safe" has more requirements. Though using a condom could help there.
One: materials need to be body safe (non-toxic, not leeching chemicals, not losing particles on a microscopic level). Two: the finished material needs to have a non-porous surface or it'll harbour bacteria and be impossible to clean to a safe level. Three: it needs to stand up to disinfection methods (heat or chemicals).
