I read Eragon right after reading a list of fantasy cliches. Paolini nailed about 50% of them. Good writing for a kid, but not my fave.
I don't see why cultural appreciation gets SLAMMED as "cultural appropriation."
Also teach kids that working on a table saw that has safety features removed can remove the ability to work with their hands.
