When I worked at Wal-Mart I had a man come in and throw a bagged goldfish onto my cash register and say "These are bad fish" and he walked out. My boss was gonna throw it away, I asked if I could keep it. ...they made me pay for it... and it lived happily for a decade.

they ejected. The pilot survived. the drone operator/back seater drowned before rescue got to them. After that the drones were launched from B-52

Yes! im sad the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle mantra as fallen aside. It was far more useful than the "its trash, but goes in a different trash bin' that has taken over the last decade

The St Louis science center had quite large foam blocks that when assembled would form an arch, but it was such a large construction it required several people to hold the individual sides until the keystone was placed.

"Carl, we are late for Odette's show. Would you hurry up? And take this leash off. It is so unbecoming, Mongo is appalled."

Curious, I looked up the artist, Romain Hugault. https://vintageaviationnews.com/warbird-articles/drawings-of-magic-the-aviation-art-of-romain-hugault.html I only skimmed this, but I get the sense he uses pen and ink to start and finishes up with the computer. Looks like hes been active since the late 90s

I like 3am. It means the dashboards update and I can finish my nightly reports, which is basically taking screen shots of the expensive dashboards the company developed a few years ago and pasting those screen shots into an email that I send off to several levels of bosses.

I remember when pepsi reps came to our neighborhood, going door to door giving away free bottles.

The protagonist accidentally gets a shape changing ring used by assassins in renaissance Italy. But the story was turned to be a bit more friendly when Disney got the rights to turn the story into a movie. The kid is bad at changing shape at will since he barely understands whats going on at all.

That scene has lived rent free in my head too. "If you highlight everything, you have highlighted nothing"
