She'd work in a shielded and filtered room- probably get less radiation than you from being protected from the background radiation.

I don't think your explanation is correct. As I know it energetic neutrons are produced in nuclear reactions and not accelerated by magnets.

@OP Awesome! I did some research with particle and nuclear physics before my current job out of college. Look into physics with ESA!

How would magnets accelerate neutral particles?

Hillary would give more funding to NASA and that makes me very conflicted

At a meeting some legacy FORTRAN code we use was mentioned. Everyone over 50 smiled and everyone younger cringed at the word.

"WHERE IS FORTRAN? AND ANYONE KNOW HOW TO USE THIS INFERNAL MOUSE CONTRAPTION?" -Old physicist who won't give up his legacy code

Religion and science are separate ideas. One relies on proof via experimentation and one relies on faith. One doesn't disprove the other.

To clarify:Germans use sorry now but it's really an English word adopted a while ago. Entschuldigung and such have different connotations(1)

Except for "sorry"

Life is pointless so you shouldn't give a fuck about anything! Do what you want, be what you want because life is pretty fucking fleeting.

hmm I suppose it came from my brain. Also I enjoy eating discreet quantities of schnitzel now and again. Where did you get yours?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fair enough. Though I do like the explosives theory a bit better!

Loved all the comics but that bugged me haha

Except a single uranium atom would just give off some radiation when it splits. You need a bunch of them over a critical mass for the boom.
