That painting gave me nightmares as a kid. There was a print of it in the library and I was legit traumatized by it, but couldnt look away.
Right now solar power is cheaper to build than almost every other form of energy, and doesnt rely on a constant supply chain to make power. You just install it once, and it works for 20-30 years and makes free energy every time the sun shines. Anyone who tells you something different is just lying to you. the only downsides are that it takes up quite a bit of space and doesnt work when its cloudy.

My commuters dream is to use the legs I evolved to get around in the city I live in. Novel concept these days except that it was literally the norm for 5000 years until about 70 years ago.
Its a typical light-misogynist cliché to a woman doing anything on the internet. Similar to saying "well she's probably a bitch" to a hot woman in order to put them down and make yourself feel better for being rejected/not their type. I've been downvoted in the past for pointing this out. "Being attractive" is partly genetic but actually takes a lot of work and discipline, especially with workout routine and diet, hair care, makeup, etc. Cosplay is just a fun form of escapism while looking hot.
Just general advice for anyone reading: If you're brushing too hard, you can try using only 2-3 fingers on the brush while brushing; any more and you can put too much pressure on your teeth. Also consider changing out the brush as soon as the bristles are no longer straight. (I like to run my old brushes through the dishwasher and use them to clean small things so I'm not wasting plastic)

As someone who grew up with hyper-religious parents and community with a strict "purity culture" I can actually relate to a few of these. I'm straight, but still haven't "come out" to my parents or other family members about being attracted to women. And they wonder why none of their children are married or even in relationships even though we're all in our 30s.
Patterned leggings accentuate curves so nicely. It really is flattering.

Imagine wanting to have a child, carrying it to term, decorating your room, telling your entire family about it and being incredibly excited for it, only for you to have a misarrange in the third trimester. You then get put to death because idiotic republicans don't understand science or women's bodies.

And they move so many more people who don't want to do the driving themselves while taking up way less space. Most white people live in suburbs and are unaware that mixed-use buildings even exist. The concept is literally unimaginable to them, that a person might share the same address of a business, even though this was common everywhere before suburbs existed, and still is common in big cities all around the world.
Home grown tomatoes are incredible tasting. Ones that are produced on massive farms are harvested early when they're green because they're harder and thus bruise less during transport. When you let them ripen naturally in the vine, the flavor is intense and deliciously sweet.
