You know how they say January feels like it lasts a year?
I am starting to get convinced that "neurotypical" people are the minority. But, they are outgoing, used to get stuff done and thus set the world up such that the rest of us have to fake it to fit in. I feel like in the future we will need more and more "odd" people, who care about facts and dive deep into topics to truly understand the subject. At this point, I don't care if someone thinks I'm weird. I consider that outdated and I wish them the best - adapt or leave, not my problem.

When my friend invited me to spend some time with his basic telescope a couple times, I didn't expect to see Jupiter in a way that would be recognizable. I certainly didn't expect to mutter to myself for half an hour about that inconsiderate slippery little bastard zipping around.
I burned out before graduating. Broke and useless.
I wish it was about the noise. My JRT attacks anything on a stick that's touching the ground - shovel, rake, broom, mop
+1 on this, I remember reading up on it when I first heard it, there's legit papers on it. Also makes sense intuitively, but it's nice to see it properly studied.
