As a kid my aunt left her baby toucan in the unfinished room in the basement of my parents house. Not cute, terrifying shit machine!

This was a pipe crew installing drainage pipe. Was only chest deep. But he fell on his back and was trying to sit up when it collapsed.
The one I saw was at least 16 years ago. During construction of 485 in Charlotte NC.
Sorry, it gave me flashbacks. His coworker held his hand as they dug him out. Was hand went limp within a minute. :(
As an ex bulldozer operator: I literally saw a man die like this. Ditch collapsed, he was dead before we could dig him out.
