I retract the "do not have shells" part of the statement, I have no idea if that's actually true :P maybe it was just removed from its shell?
indeed. It appears cymbium pepo is the protein that creates the spiral in shells, while this thing in OP's video (and the photo at the top of the medium article) do not have shells.
In the context of a office-to-resident conversion, that doesn't seem like much money, depending on how large the place is. A million dollars can hardly get you an apartment in some places
What even is the context for this video? Why are they getting slapped? I didn't find it funny or amusing in the least, and now I'm just confused reading the comments

I guess it's inoffensively bland. The multi colors paired with the Christmas decorations in the movie really give it this wonderful warm nostalgic feeling though
