Best I can tell, it's a King Cobra, naja naja (does that make sense to you?). It's got the hood with the spots that look kinda like eyes.
Y'know what, I never inclined to ask the artist what species exactly. I'd feel unscientific if I just said "cobra" but I'll do some googlin'
