Dude looked like a Greek king of old and now he looks like he makes prank content on instagram.

I think China was the first to make him capitulate, all the way back in his first term. He really doesn't have a great track record of "winning".

who can intimidate others into accepting them as leader.

Both species are displaying a very human behavior.

With Bonobos, one theory is that their habitat allowed the females to stay together when foraging for food. The males aggressive behavior doesn't work anymore, like it does with Chimps, because ape ladies together strong. And the males are too competitive against each other to band together. So the males have no power to boss anyone around and instead, the power dynamic shifted to the more close knit female social hierarchy that not based on>

I guess we know who takes that dog for walks and so spends quality times with the pupper that he little one enjoys.

result in being suffocated slowly. Israel on the other hand has had full, unlimited and unconditional logistical support from the United States, most of Europe and some other countries.

For Palestinians to stand a chance, that line must be cut first.

There's a bit more than uniforms at play here. Palestinians have been hitting back by peaceful, violent and armed means for generations. They are facing an entire state, with all its laws, military, infrastructure, culture etc. dedicated to slowly crush them without triggering international intervention. Just like the colonial genocides it was modeled on, the whole machine is built in a way that fighting back will serve as an argument why they need to be crushed and not fighting back will>

Christ, I didn't even intent to ragebait or troll anyone, but you launch into some kind of butthurt rant. It was a harmless quib about English spelling-pronounciation being nonsensical.

Stop taking stuff so seriously, mate. It's memes and quibs. ;)

Talking about taking stuff to seriously <3

#4 I don't think english speakers should open their funny little mouths over fucked up spelling-pronounciation relationships. French at least follows coherent rules, as opposed to English, that is 100% based on memorizing how that specific word is pronounced.

They can change the headlines afterwards. And they do when they get backlash. Recently, there was a famous one by sky news that was changed 3 or 4 times to different versions of "3 Israeli soldiers killed by Hezbollah as 300 die during war in Lebanon", because they went viral for the passive/active contrast in the same sentence.

think happens then? Is the "Coup Belt of Africa" a term? THAT happens then. They will stop playing by the rules we like the world to work by and start looking for the protection of a major power that offers them the sweeter sounding deal. And that is not us. They remember us as their colonizers. We better start tickling a LOT of taints in the global south or we are going to be in a world of shit in a few decades.

major problematic developement. In the past few years conservatives and liberals in many western countries have started ranting against the U.N.s supposed uselessness, every time they got overruled by the the global south. This is a very dangerous signal. Go ahead, dear conservatives and centrist libs. Go and tell the global south that they are only allowed to pretend to have a seat at the table as long as they vote to our liking and otherwise we flip the table...

What the fuck do these people>

One problem I see is, the U.N. is THE forum for many of the worlds countries for their plights and issues.

The security council was kneecapped from inception by granting the 5 countries that were irresponsible enough to first acquire nukes permanent veto seats. All of which are former or current imperialist nations. This still worked to a degree until the past 2 decades, when the blatant egotistical power struggle of those 5 made any constructive ruling impossible.

And now we have another>

I don't know man, how do they procure the books? This feels like those people who bought (what was that beer they got mad at?) by the pallette in order to film themselves shooting at it. The fuck does Rowling care of you read or burn her book after you bought it and paid her?

The light orange part is between 0.1-1 people per km². Alaska is 0.5 people per km². The yellow part is less than 1/5 as dense Alaska. The slightly darker orange is between emptier than Wyoming up to Nebraska levels of pop. density. Those little patches of rust colour and dots of red? That's the population density 47/50 US states.

Or in other words, pack enough supplies, water, gasoline and spare tires for that trip.

90% of that route is 10 times or more densely populated than that route around Australia.

It means jack shit if the population is not willing to rip the government and courts a new one for trampling on it.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, give it some time. What do you think the american Volkssturm will be called? Make America Not Lose The War Again Corps?

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

PS: forgot the rust coloured one around the tiny red dots. That one is comparable to most rural US states.

Population densit. The light yellow is a pop density 1/5th that of Alaska. The slightly darker orange is in the Alaska ballpark. The dark orange is between emptier than Wyoming and comparable with Nebraska. The tiny red flecks are in east coast ballpark. Not the cities. The east coast in general.

Then do something. Americans fucking apathy is currently ruining the world economy and killing schoolchildren in Iran.

Do something or go fuck yourselves collectively.

You know that civil society has a lot of power or do you not want to know it? Sorry, but this mentality is pathetic.

Tipp from a German: My ancestors also didn't do anything to stop him. We are never hearing the end of it. Make your choice.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ehhm... okay. So we should not expect to see the Americans to do anything about it. Is noted.

I'm afraid it will be very much noticed and noted internationally. You do you.

into bigger and bigger commitment rather than admitting they failed.

This will only be a part of the troops. Recent reports gave anything between 2.500 and 10.000 marines being relocated as well. Probably others too. Now, if they want to do anything else than playing fish in a barrel on Kharg Island, they will need more. But I also get the feeling the decision makers in the US are only veeeery slowly and gradually acknowledging that they won't achieve their goals by actions with limited commitment. And that also means they are more likely to creep themselves >
