I was hunting with my red tail hawk. The hawk caught the squirrel and I reached down to make sure it was dead. It wasn’t.
I was the first person in Indiana in 2019 to get bitten by a squirrel (that reported it) according to the health department.
Written test, have facilities and equipment inspected, then a two year apprenticeship. Each state has slightly different regulations.
Manning is the process whereby you get the bird used to new stimuli, like being around people. Kevin and I watched the Office together.
Most states require a written test, have facilities and equipment inspected by law enforcement, and then undergo a 2 year apprenticeship

It’s where you get the bird used to being around people by carrying home on your fist for a few hours at a time.
Manning is where you expose the bird to various stimuli to get him used to people, dogs, etc. Sorry! Should have included more detail!

I keep them and feed them to Kevin throughout the season.
Rabbits mostly.
