Yes. It's made for people not used to rappelling to put on fast during a stressful situation. Having all the buckles up front makes sense.

I drink more caffeine while pregnant because cravings. I'm not usually into coffee or soda, so more just means one coke every week or two.
Recommendations are to limit caffeine. Some people do cut it out completely to be extra safe or because pregnancy related food aversions.
Saturday is a catch up day. So maybe Tuesday evening you can see what needs to be done & get any supplies then actually do it on Saturday.
