Found the big brother fan.
Its actually the bacteria in it that give off different colors at different temps. Saw this and others last year at Yellowstone. Beautiful

Couple of years here myself, never had it go below 100%. It sits in front of my monitor which charges it according to the meter.
Don't pull it off.. I have the same keyboard as well, and its full of scratches now.
