a song of ice and fire has a ton of similar plots, just not written as good vs bad, more of 3rd person look at the story.
but try finding a sci-fi/fantasy story that isnt similar.
Not sure if archetypes is the word im looking for here, but its not a copy of the plot Star Wars. There are many common themes, yes, 1/2
