It's the only monthly donation I make; totally worth it!
Why you making assumptions about that man's diet ๐
Absolutely. I've seen families that are absolutely feudal with the amount of sibling rivalry/jealousy.
That favoritism can be transactional/conditional though, and oldest children sometimes have to "perform" (usually in a self-sacrificial way) in order to hold that status, which to siblings might seem like, "oh, they are so perfect because they are adored" not realizing pressure to be perfect is how those children become "loveable" and they are ALWAYS aware that one slip up can cost them the acceptance they have grown to need/be desperate for.
I mean...does he believe in the moon? Or the sun? What the heckin...
Wait, her actually wanting #datbootydoe in her face isn't the joke?
American here, the power company turned the power off at my grandfather's house (he was 85 I think) so that he would come in person to pay the bill and they could make sure he was still alive. I'm wondering if that type of fraud is common here? He was at his girlfriend's house, so he didn't notice until all the contents of his fridge/freezer were questionable. Huge waste.
They acted like this at my old vet's office every time I would bring my dog in. He really loved it, just ate it alllll up. They asked if I could bring him in on Fridays in the future cause he was such a morale boost ๐ Vet techs are amazing people in my experience.
As someone who visited family in Larimore...yes.
Oh geeze, how did I become all 3 of these? ๐
Yeah I've met too many who would stand up and say they'd love to benefit from affirmative action. But they would never attend something like this in the first place...
LOL I have to remind mine to stay away from the fence line between my neighbor and I. One escaped and pooped on her driveway and she never forgave them/me. When I give a holler they know to rein it in. Chickens are funny creatures; they will try to get away with whatever they can. *queues Don't Fence Me In*
When my SO died, I started looking for pictures but realized we never took any of each other. There were lots of group shots, especially from when we were friends and dating other ppl, but only a couple of just us. Looking back, I wish I'd taken a hundred more.
Was looking on Petfinder when I found my little dude. His whole litter had just been abandoned in a box. I called to make sure he would still be available in a couple hours when I could pick him up and ALL his sisters had already been claimed. It was just him and one other boy left. I rushed over to get him ASAP. Thank goodness cause he is literally the bestest boi. My life would be incomplete without him. So shelters get young puppies they just go really quick!
Well, this is horrifying. Thanks.
In the beginning, I thought this isn't even remotely accurate...then he moved the seat up and I died laughing. I stand corrected.
My dad still argues with me about how I actually KNOW those aren't actual hot singles in his area ๐
Voted in VA!
Yeah, my grandma bought her plot and headstone ahead of time so she could be buried next to her sister. When she showed it to me, it was a little shocking/sad, but now she's confident she has exactly what she wants ๐ฅฒ
Yeah, I always hate it how people who are parents tell me to hurry up and forgive mine as though I'm just some selfish brat and they're scared their kids will do the same. Why should I have to detail the abuse/neglect I siffered to get people off my back? And maybe I would forgive them if they got sober and made an effort. Just trust someone when they say they've cut toxic ppl out of their life. It likely wasn't an easy decision and took years to make.
All of this! Seriously. Why ask me if I only want a long-time partner If you're only going to show me randos visiting from other states/countries requesting ONS. ๐ค
I feel like this would make a funny episode on Suits.
So glad I made it to the end ๐
I mean...
I twisted my ankle looking at some of these ๐
Came here to say this. If they have asked me absolutely nothing about myself while I carry the conversation, I assume they aren't that interested and move on to someone who is engaging with me. Sometimes they come back a week or a month later with "hey" but not always. If you haven't even been on a first date yet (or at least agreed to one) it shouldn't be considered ghosting.
This happened to me at ATL last summer. I pre-paid for the reservation and no car...no cars at ALL. Min 8 hour wait at the airport if you wanted to keep your pre-paid rez, refusing to honor reservations if you hadn't pre-paid. You wouldn't reserve a hotel room and be ok if there wasn't one available when you showed up. They were also refusing refunds, which made it harder for me to rent elsewhere. Totally crazy experience.
There's a Black Mirror episode about something similar; it scared me silly!
My mom bought her house 10 years ago for 225k/ 2.89% interest rate. She's an abusive alcoholic/addict that had a psychotic break/lost her job. My siblings and I have been paying all her bills for the past 7 years trying to also support ourselves. Now she's putting the place on the market cause it's worth 500k, leaving me effectively homeless talking about how "smart" she is to have made such a great investment. My brother paid her down payment, but she had "no help". Ok, boomer -_-
