It will go rancid as bacteria can live in honey/nectar with a high enough water content

It is harmful. honey with a high enough water content allows for bacteria to form and cause the honey to go rancid.

I read somewhere that Drosera Capensis can self-pollinate. I'm still going to use I paintbrush once more flowers open just to be sure!

Pretty much. The water content is too high and now that "honey" will have the chance of going rancid while in storage. Pure honey won'tGoBad

they never digest the nectar. they store it, spit it out, then dry it until its water content is low enough to inhibit bacteria growth

a bad idea. the bees inside will die, yes. but the honey will attract grosser bugs like roaches

Unfiltered meaning you’ll get sugar crystals and wax bits

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

in then the water content will be high enough for bacteria to ruin the honey.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Yes this can happen with flow hives. You cant tell from the side widow if all the honey in the frame is completed. If enough nectar gets 1/
