About ten years ago or so, some facebook ads were using pics of people from your friends list for ads like this. I had one come up with a headline like “sexy singles in your area are looking for you.” The pic was the profile pic of a friend of mine… she is (and was at the time) very happily married with kids… and she and her husband co pastor a church. She was horrified by the ad. Her husband got a good laugh out of it, though.

Back in high school I took a shot on goal to the side of my head. I didn’t feel a thing, just found myself on the ground wondering what the hell I was doing there.

You’re not fooling me, that’s a Norwegian Blue. Remarkable bird. Lovely plumage. If you don’t keep them nailed to their perch, they’ll muscle up to the bars of their cage, bend them apart with their beak, and.. vooom!
When I got my first license, it came with a note that said that they wanted me to come in for a free retake as the picture did not meet the California DMV standards. Do you realize just how bad a picture has to be for the DMV to ask you to come in because your picture isn’t up to their standards?

My wife and I recently got a kitten to play with our almost one year old cat. The older of the two doesn’t really cat well and we kinda hoped the kitten would teach her big sister. She is, but she’s also learning from the bigger kitty too. It’s weird and hilarious and fun to watch them learn and grow

I’ve been following you for a while now. You are an awesome person and your mom doesn’t deserve your time or energy anymore. You deserve better, and it sounds to me like your husband is giving you the love and respect you deserve. Your mom sounds like a vain, shallow, materialistic woman who is too self absorbed to realize her daughter is a far better human being than she is.
