While there is no requirement to have an SSN to register theoretically you need a driver's license. You do not need to be a citizen to get a driver's license in California. You can do that online at any time.

No, you need a driver's license or SS number. Non-citizens can get a driver's license.
That's the law. sometimes people cheat.
The California ballot comes in 27 different languages. There is no requirement to show that you are a US citizen to register to vote. There is the same day registering to vote. So an undocumented immigrant CAN just walk up and vote.
And don't forget "kneecapping"!
Both my wife and I carry a Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm shield. Great handgun, easily concealed, and with moderate stopping power. You should get yourself one if possible.
Very few of us carry a revolver on a daily basis. A 9mm S&W Shield or a Glock 26 is more appropriateate.
