I'm working on getting my company to relocate me by year's end. Texan here, and I'm fed the fuck up with what we've become. I didn't give nearly a third of my life to protect this country so some ratlicking, windbag geriatrics and an angry cheeto could turn us into a reality TV version of fucking Handmaid's Tale. I'm uncomfortably close to the "collecting scalps" level of fed up with these bastards and their water soluble morals.

Yes, i took that pic (that's my hand). No, i didn't do that on purpose. Subcontractor ignored direction, tried to drill a pilot hole through a 1/4" steel plate instead of the thin steel above it. Plate said "naw, fam."

I'm about 4 months into learning German, and I've found it to be significantly easier than most other languages (grew up speaking Americanese, with Spanish speakers always nearby). Probably helps that I've had a love of German industrial music since the early 90s.
