This is well seasoned firewood that had been air-dried for 3-4 years and acclimatized in my shop for several months.
It took about 30 hours but I didn't really count. I enjoyed every moment of it.
Use push sticks with a table saw! This guy isn't going to work with his hands much longer if he keeps on doing that

This would be really easy to build yourself, it's just a few volt meters you can control with a micro controller (e.g. arduino).

Hah! I found your 20 pentagons. You can't subdivide a regular sphere with hexagons without putting pentagons at the icosahedron vertices.
