Every now and then I spend my fake internet points telling people the truth so they can downvote it.

Promises, promises.

Impeach. Him. Now.

Before he does more damage.

It isnot the president's right to unilaterally declare war on whoever he wants. If the congress does not act to stop him they are complicit and can and should be held accountable.

How did they get past his hardware MFA andencryption?

Oh wait. He's a moron.

The banks collect and destroy bills for many reasons, not just when the bills are unusable.

Bleaching a bill doesn't necessarily make it unusable, but it would cause a bank to pull one from circulation for replacement, the same as if it was torn or taped or soiled with foreign substances.

The argument being made - or that I am making anyway - is that crossing out Donny's name doesn't make the bill unusable.

I weep for him.

Yeah. It doesn't work that way.

Kids are people, they make their own choices, and if you try too hard to force them, they will rebel. This is normal and natural and part of growing up - to rebel against authority is an assertion of independence.

Banks also routinely collect worn or torn bills.

But - is the legibility (or lack thereof) of one asshole's signature really enough to render the bill unusable? I have routinely been given bills with writing on them, and have never once has trouble spending them.

I think you'd have a difficult time in a court of law convincing a fair jury or judge that this makes the bill unusable.

I like "rapist" written in fabric marker as the best solution so far. Permanent, and possession of a fabric marker doesn't suggest intent like a rubber stamp might.

IANAL, but so long as you aren't trying to change the value or make the bill unusable - you're gold.

Banks and other institutions *will* collect these and send them back to the mint to be destroyed and reissued, as they do with other defaced currency, but that's fine - a message is being sent.

I like that this could ruin value for collectors.

The Obamas were and are a class act. Intelligent and kind, both of them.

She's a for e of nature. You don't question it, you just adapt.

Yeah. assuming he actually follows thru. I will believe him when the check clears.

Over and over, Donny takes credit for solving problems that he fucking well caused. Often without actually solving the problem.

To the people talking nukes:

Nukes don't win wars, not since 1946. They're a deterrent, so *nobody* wins if a war starts. Nuclear fallout *does not care* what side you are on. The entire point of a nuclear weapon is to ensure if you lose, everyone does.

Simply deface every one you come across. Black sharpie over his name. Bill is still good, but when it reaches a bank it will be pulled from circulation and destroyed. "Yeah I don't know who did that."

It's hard for a pilot to hide dereliction of duty, while it was easy to roll a grenade under the bunk of an overly-eager lieutenant getting your buddies killed. Two very different situations.

Any unless you are suggesting they used drones to frag, irrelevant.

The reality is lots of people who get to decide if others live or die do so with zero risk, and drones didn't change that.

But this is gettin repetitive, so I'ma just gonna block you. Bye.

Bite me kid.

Hardly. But they have both a sworn duty to follow orders and a price to pay should they fail to do so. They have far less agency than you imagine - a pilot who decides not to drop a bomb because it's immoral faces - at best - a courts-martial, and potentially imprisonment.

Whereas Donny is *quite literally immune* to crimes he commits as the president in his presidential duties.

No drone operator was ever so removed.

It's pretty good at coding - at creating source code to do certain tasks.

What it sucks at, still, is design and debugging and problem solving. If your goal is trivial, it's fine. If your goal is complex, it'll go off the rails pretty quickly. A good developer watching and correcting and driving the process is greatly aided - but very much not replaced. And a bad developer will waste time and end up with buggy insecure code.

And that's unlikely to change. Ever.

It'll be nice to recall/replace those and burn them.

Ok but you get every step in that chain of command reduces the feeling of personal responsibility, right?

The argument that drones suddenly make killing impersonal or lower risk simply isn't true. Part of the reason Donny started shit with Iran was he knew that even if things went south he wasn't personally in jeopardy.

I'm not surprised. There's a brash overconfidence in being strong and right in young men that also makes them easily duped - that is *often* but not always beaten out of you as you age, especially if you have a family. Nothing puts you in your place more than changing diapers at 2am. It's why countries draft young men - not because they're athletic, but because they often don't know any better.

No offense to young men here - I assure you when I was 18 I was dumber than you in most ways.

1) nobody said it was fair, not even Donny.

2) donny is an asshole. ITMFA.

3) in all honesty - this is a sign to the entire fucking world we need to get away from fossil fuel dependencies to the utmost extent possible as soon as possible, especially if you cannot produce locally. Not just for the climate, but so that fascist assholes can't fuck with your life, intentionally or not. This has been obvious for decades, but it's also VIABLE now. Make it so. Solar wind hydro. Do it.

But for something like an English class, the correct response would be "cute, but you know what I meant"

My physics teacher in High School said "you may have one 8.5x11" paper sheet of notes, handwritten, that you wrote yourself" because we'd gone the rules-lawyer route before.

Generally speaking, when a New Yorker speaks to you, it is because you are in their way, and the best way to get you out of the way is to point you in the right direction and give you a verbal nudge. They are being kind and helpful. Not necessarily polite, but helping.

Getdafuckouttadaway. Wanna look at the map? Fine, but getdafuckouddadaway first.

Meh. IF he makes it to the end of his term, and that's a mighty big if, he won't last much past it. He's caused way too much mayhem to be allowed a quiet retirement, and he's too much of an attention whore to try for one. Between a nonstop string of lawsuits and his own pigheadded stupidity, he'll stroke out at some point pretty soon.

Start around season 4, and you'll be done with most of the good bits by 12ish.

But if he ever becomes a military pilot, you can bet your bottom dollar that'll be his callsign.
