As long as you keep in mind that the author is gloryfying the CCP in his books, the series is okay. But the whole story is based on "China is right and you're all wrong", which becomes really annoying really fast.

Tips from an adult ADHD guy: always have something with moving parts in a pocket or on your pants. I personally have a bearing ball and a washer in my left pocket, and a small chain attached on the right side of my pants. it helps.
It's a good thing her treatment started early. It's really hard having to deal with ADHD without knowing why it's impossible to remember simple things, or stop moving for a moment, or where this constant anger comes from. Good luck to your little lady.
