To me that looks like the brown retaining clip of the flat flex connector isn’t seated. I don’t think it should stick out that far. That brown bit is what pushes the cable contacts against the contacts in the socket. a loose clip would cause those random symptoms imo.

Also in an Inside Number 9 episode they completely forgot to tuck the mic wire away and it really took me out of the scene

I do this all the time. Been watching My Name Is Earl recently - you can see them in most episodes of that.

That’s interesting, what was it about the protocol that didn’t allow that? Genuinely curious :)

Yes, clearly it wasn’t, it was a joke. It was still slow compared to other disk drives as it used a serial interface for data transfer.

Ah yes, the only computer where the disk drive was actually slower than the tape unit :p

Honestly, I totally agree with you. Like I said, in the hands of a better team it could have been great. And don’t get me started on the /1

I quite liked him but I could definitely have done with more eccleston for sure. The “Dalek” episode gave me goosebumps...

/2 wrong word. But it was still preachy and shit. A more competent team could have made Jodie a great doctor. It’s not like she can’t act!

/2 it was just so obvious and preachy it just really turned me off to it all. But yeah it’s easy to call something woke, maybe that was /1

I have watched the first series and yes actually you’re right. It was all handled so badly that it basically did fail in its mission.

They just made me sad because they wasted a fantastic actor. I was so disappointed, because on paper it should have been amazing!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Better then the woke shit-show we have now, for sure. I was very apprehensive when he was announced as the Doctor but he owned that role!

I get that it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but yeah I really enjoyed it. The Christmas special has some great Ricky acting it in.

Nope, are you thinking of Les Dennis maybe?
