If theres one sin we Norwegians don't mind, its pride. We are just as proud of our "self-earned" health as we are about how expensive everything is here. Everything is so damn simple, if only everyone had a level-headed Norwegian to tell them the truth. We got humble-bragging as a national sport.

(Not that I think we have unwalkable infrastructure here in Norway... So gotta be another reason. And the sooner we find the actual reason, beyond blaming fat people, the better for society.)

I'm Norwegian too and we got the same problem as US: "Ferske tall viser at mellom 60 og 70 prosent av Norges voksne befolkning (fra 20 รฅr og oppover) er overvektige." -- NRK 2018

I had heard it was more difference than that. But that was a while ago. But even if it isnt, I'm still convinced we dont get 73% from just "lack of willpower" that some people blame fatness on.

So do a lot of other countries without turning as big. And it isnt abundance when most of those who become overweight is in the lower economic classes.

Is a bit much for being a personal failure of each person. Isn't it time we all stopped blaming people for being fat and rather look into the actual cause? Unwalkable infrastructure. Minimum income too low to afford time and healthy food. Food manufacturers not producing enough balanced foods. We can't help being humans, can't entirely ignore our instincts, and when the entire average population is overweight, theres gotta be more to it than "fat people lazy".

Yes, technically it is a shrimp of some sort.

Maybe not acid but yeah, rather people try biting a pill instead of a bullet. Its a bit of work finding the right drug, but so damn worth it when you find something that works.

Knew it was more to it! So whats the reason the govt can get away with letting the police break peoples rights to peacefully demonstrate then?

Easier this than using a giant pencil to wind it up.

Nah, building harmless shit and having fun is what a good world is built on. There is worse shit we should worry about than a weird robot dog. ๐Ÿ˜…

As long as they make no law... And doesnt actually do anything about the local enforcers who breaks laws while wearing police uniforms... The congress wouldnt really be liable, would they? Innocence through willfull ignorance, yay! /s (Not having read those stuff myself and I would probably be an awful lawyer anyway, but I'm betting its more to it than just "make no law")

Dumb-tech is great! Its the "smart" tech that is dumb, spying, user-unfriendly, and have multiple points of potential fatal failures.

Norwegians fixed that: We moved tacos to fridays. Doesn't alliterate but we don't care.

I stopped touching cable long before I had an alternative in internet pirating. Id rather go back to VHS sharing than cable television.
