Don’t forget that prices are now at a permanently higher point. Anyone that thinks prices go down with the removal of tariffs is dumber than Trump.
My boss is a German working out of Switzerland with a fully international team. He says managers and aspiring managers will not act this way. He says rank and file professionals absolutely will use the note to take the week off. To be fair, they aren’t faking it, they just clearly take more time then needed and they have workers council protection.
I’m not sure why you brought up that you’re not really sure why I brought this up. Oh that’s right we are on a social media platform where people share thoughts and experiences.
That’s the worst part. We do semi annual employee surveys. EU employees tend to be very blunt with their grievances, which is a good thing. US, Brazilian, and Indian employees tend to hide issues. So we get extremely high marks compared to external market with EU employees on their job satisfaction and this still happens. Seems to be cultural.
To downvote hell. I have EU employees that will tell me Monday morning they have a doctors note and will be out the whole week. Meanwhile I’ll be out with a bad cold one day, working remote day 2 and fine by day 3. Insane how the illness lasts exactly one week in Europe every time. Not saying we have it right, we certainly don’t, but they definitely play the system.
