Unfortunately, you went through the paint in a few places. A lot of that could be buffed out still. You could do it by hand. [cont]

No. It just makes it so those counties with less than 40k don't have to hire staff to take care of the pumps at all hours of the day.
Drive a motorcycle. We've always been allowed to pump our own gas...
How the law started is a bit odd. Personally gas is inexpensive in Oregon. Not like it is in the South. But significantly cheaper than CA&WA
The laws a bit of a joke.. It's been legal in these areas to pump your own gas for over a year. Motorcyclists pump their own gas as well.
