Fuck Gavin Newsom. He's already positioning himself to run on the same "how do we appeal to the undecided voters" platform that HAS NOT WORKED in the past 3 elections. And the DNC, being full of out-of-touch wealthy white geezers, think he's a viable candidate because people like his antics. He's not, and wouldn't stand a chance against the fascists. Not saying there aren't opportunists, but your argument can be the exact reason victims don't come forward, and the cycle continues
Add to that the particular case of pornstars, who can be said to "want it" because sex is their job, it makes sense for them to stay quiet
That same logic also supports the women though. Victims are afraid to come forward for fear of their attacker being too famous, powerful etc
