So I’m looking at the text message that seems to be the smoking gun, I might be missing something, but it seems to me that maybe he didn’t know how her lifestyle would effect him emotionally until he was in it. The reason I see that as a possibility is because he said that he would respect her choice for choosing to continue on in that way. I’ll attach the picture, I circled the red flag stuff in red, and then the “benefit of the doubt “ stuff in green. Thoughts?
Thanks!
Thanks! All of those make sense to me, agreed that it would be negligent instead of malicious.
I agree with you, but I know nothing about ferrets. To ease my mind could you list some examples of how one could accidentally a ferret in a bath?
So let me get this straight. The people who deserve fame get mocked out of it. Cool.
I saw the same thing happen to my dad’s construction business. It’s a real bummer to see it’s happening again to people. Shit really sucked.
I hope our relationship with a creator is like this. Would be so funny
Isn’t it illegal to charge someone for the same crime twice? Idk much about courts but I thought this is called double jeopardy.
This one has to be unanimous?
I don’t think I ever ended up out that way, doesn’t sound familiar at least. y’all were life savers, though. mad respect.
Yeah I guess I shouldn’t have expected a conversation in this place. He asked questions that have answers. I gave (what I thought) was a good answer and am getting downvoted. The message I receive from this is that we just shout down, instead of trying to share ideas. I understand shouting down when it comes to things like hate speech. Seems to me this person is confused about motivations and the meanings of things. Kind of getting a mob mentality here. It is what it is, I guess.
It’s too bad about the downvotes, basically makes it impossible to have an honest conversation about it. It’s disgusting because people are donating to someone who took their sense of justice out on a mentally ill person via a hand delivered death sentence. Why would they want him to be innocent so badly, and why is it only the right who wants that? Honest questions.
We’re on the same page. Watching people act like we’re the good guys is a borderline trigger for me at this point because of what I saw. It’s a tough line to walk so I usually just keep my mouth shut to avoid having to deal with a nuanced conversation though 😂. I get so tired of being misunderstood
As an Iraq vet I’m completely against the war in Ukraine. I also am completely against what we did in Iraq. All of it. So many people are on high horses about Russia without realizing how bad we were to Iraq. We need to be better. Supporting Ukraine is the right thing to do here, thankfully. We aren’t sitting on moral high ground right now, we just so happen to be on the right side of a war for the first time since…. WWII? I think?
Gunna have to be more specific as to which ones you’re asking about. Also I should’ve been more specific, by overlords I mean the billionaire class.
Instead we get capitalist overlords. Yaaaay us! /s
You still use cable?
Hey man! Marine motor t here, same year. What province were you in? Al anbar here.
I just had that exact moment while reading it 🤣
Yup. I stopped expressing my dislike of it because I’m tired of caring, but yeah. I used to tell me that they don’t know what they’re thanking me for, and if they did they probably wouldn’t be saying it.
It sounds to me like the kind of parent that intended well, and conflates their intent with their impact. Probably no recognition that despite their best intentions they probably did some damage, and lack of that awareness is probably too much for the kids to overcome. I could be off base, but why not speculate?
That was my first thought too. No ownership
Jay is a huge asshole, doesn’t sound like a friend at all. Sounds like the type who see’s people as objects to use, zero empathy. You’re not the asshole.

Yeah that makes sense. It’s too bad they didn’t feel like verbalizing their disagreement. I was in Iraq in 2007, only lost 1 guy in theatre. I’ve had over 8 people from my unit take their lives sense. I put their deaths on war, personally. I don’t like the idea of using their deaths for the gun debate, even though I’m very in favor of more gun control in this country.
