Sorry in advance for linking to a Fox News video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upZLHm0bk2c

Judges and juries love it when you claim a bunch of different, self-contradictory defenses.

Skidmarked pants are more important than national documents. Gotcha

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And you know he did not pack those boxes himself so whoever did could have got a good look/. Took pictures. Also if I had to guess why it was packed with his own clothing, he probably had someone take some of his shirts and shit and put them on top of the secret documents to pretend like the only things in the boxes are clothing if anyone looked, you know like a fucking child trying to hide something. So that’s why he has to explain the clothing mixed in too

How many times will it take to flush this turd down a toilet?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If i never have to see this shitstain ever again i'll be a bit happier.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Don't get caught up in his excuses, just press him. "So you're saying that you are a very disorganized person?"

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So, I guess he had shit laying around everywhere, no extra boxes, no professional packers, no time to pack, he’s so poor he cares about a golf shirt, he’s so busy he hasn’t unpacked in 3 years, etc etc?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

To be fair a dog ate some of the documents.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

>> And to be fairer some of the documents were accidentally flushed down the toilet.

It's beyond me how even the ignorant MAGAts can continue to believe and support this moron. His rantings are becoming more and more unhinged---and self-incriminating.

think he is going for the "Bat Shit Crazy" plea?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I can't go to jail, I have dementia.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You put top secret documents in with your personal shit? They act like they didn't have enough boxes or that the documents didn't warrant their own container. "Hey, what do I do w/ all the laundry and shit?" "Just put it in with the Top Secret Documents" ...or maybe that was on purpose so it didn't look like the documents were important or that they could be seen if people quickly looked inside?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Furthermore, you could've had Nauta or a team go through and pull out personal items like....*sigh* clothes and leave the documents untouched. It's not like you had to go through them personally. Also, you didn't have time to respond to a Federal Subpoena? Just brush it off bc you had a fuckin' rally scheduled to con people out of their money at? S'all bullshit with this fuckin' guy.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Should be an extra law for storing top secret documents in a hazmat environment.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

When I have to give standardized tests, my teaching license can be taken away and charges pressed if I mishandle the tests in any way - including letting them leave my line of sight for any moment in time… but the former president of the United States treats top secret documents like his wardrobe and allows his valet to pack them…. Makes sense.

How dare you??

Donald Gargamel Trump is not a very smart man. "I treated the classified documents like laundry" isn't the compelling defense he thinks it is.

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Gargamel... heh heh.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Don't forget he de-classified all of his laundry with his mind before leaving office & then securely stored his de-classified laundry in a ballroom that was only accessible to anyone who rented the ballroom, and then moved it to a super-max secure shower. You can tell how secure the bathroom is b/c it has a chandelier. No one installs a chandelier in a bathroom that isn't secure.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I love how his defense/responses have changed over time. First it was "Its an FBI plant/I didn't have anything/fake news" just after the raid. After pics were released, it was "well they weren't that sensitive and I declassified them". After no declassification evidence presented it's been "I did nothing wrong". Post indictment it's now morphed into "they were 'my' documents it's all a political hit job!". The best is how his excuses become more preposterous and just flat out reality denying.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

IN one statement he said his "aide" Walt Nauta packed up all the stuff for him and he would have known not to pack sensitive docs. I see a bus coming your way Walt...

like really, is he fucking 10 years old for that excuse to fly?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Could you imagine retaining sensitive documents against your NDA after leaving a company, them asking (asking!!) for you to return them, and then doing what Trump did? And then having the freedom to go on a show and say you had such piss poor file management that it was your excuse for not complying?

2 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

"I was too busy" he says. Not an excuse if I file my taxes late. And unlike Trump, I do my own laundry, shopping, house cleaning and cooking. He means he was too busy golfing and selling secret documents to the Saudis.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He's been institutionalized his whole life. He's seen a documentary on "busy" once, and that's about it.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Anyone else would have been arrested with extreme prejudice.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

If only there was a period of time after losing an election when he could have gone through everything and separated his sweaty clothes from the top secret government documents........

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

He's still president, remember? Rigged election. "I won that election, by a lot!" I'm surprised he hasn't used that excuse yet. Why would he return the docs if he's still president? Right? What an oaf.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Look, you can plan a bumbling coup or you can do laundry, but there just aren't enough hours in the day to do both.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The "I was very busy, you know" excuse. Lol. Fucker is probably still going to walk away.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Busy playing golf....

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He’ll get pardoned when it’s all said and done. That’s how these things go. They do it to prevent riots and the appearance that it was a political attack. It’s not and never was a political attack, but there’s perception that it is. So they’ll pardon him to appease the masses that think it is.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agree.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Which is total BS. If you or I had stolen those documents and “lost” one the way he had… we’d be rotting in a prison cell or would have faced a firing line already. No one would know about us either.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep, exactly. Now get back in line, peasant.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A. Bullshit (clearly) B. If that was the reason, jumbling classified documents with your golf shirts proves you made no effort to secure the documents

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

No, you've got it all backwards. Clearly he treats his golf shirts with the level of security appropriate for national security info! /S

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It would be very on-brand that while we're assuming there's some high-level nefarious reason he held onto them, the real reason is just mind-bogglingly stupid.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's going to be great watching him sort out all the lies under oath. No matter what he says, there is a video of him contradicting it.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I thought you couldn't compel someone to testify at their own trial.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They can't be, due to potential to self-incriminate. As to whether Trump follows his attorneys' advice is another matter. Trump may consent to testify, particularly if he thinks the ratings will be good.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel he can't consent to that without his attorneys agreeing.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If he insists, well, attorneys are contractors to a degree. The attorney(s) can petition the court to withdraw as his counsel if they feel strongly enough about it. Trump could also dismiss them in mid-trial if he wanted. In the case of something like this, where the client would go against the advice of counsel, the attorney(s) would probably petition the court to withdraw themselves. Of course, this is all speculation. based on the premise that Trump may want to take the stand.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He took the same precautions for top secret documents...as a golf shirt.

2 years ago | Likes 436 Dislikes 0

It’s a really nice shirt.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A Top Secret golf shirt. /s

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hey man, that's DONALD TRUMP's golf shirt! It is probably made of gold, because he is so rich, and famous, and handsome! And defending him must mean that I too will be rich and famous and handsome when Lord Trump takes his rightful place on the throne! /s

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

But a bathroom has a lock. /s

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

dont act surprised, i know you arent.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He spent more time golfing then presidenting, so I guess?

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

What a great defense. Steels car and caught* NO SIR! My things are in it! I cant return it until i get my things!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe he really loves that golf shirt.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

to be fair, golf is apparently VERY important to him, more than running the country. im sure the shirts get treated better than the documents

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He probably took greater precautions for the golf shirt than the classified documents

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His golf shirts are also Top Secret. The secret is the built-in control-top braziere.

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His latest defense is his valet is responsible. As a former military guy Trump relied on him to pack up his personal stuff without including classified material but he didn't do that. It's a bs defense I'm sure we all know but hopefully the court doesn't buy it either.

2 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

I'm waiting to hear some good dirt as trump turns on everyone around him to place blame and some of them inevitably tell us sordid little secrets in return

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There seems to be a strong possibility that Nauta will back that story up. His allegiance to Benedict Donald is allegedly complete and unwavering.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

he incriminated himself again and again , please just let this moron talk bahahaha

2 years ago | Likes 117 Dislikes 0

Don't interrupt your enemy when they're making a mistake

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I must admit to a considerable amount of schadenfreude when I imagine his lawyers viewing is statements.

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

What do they care? I assume they got some cash up front. They’re probably thinking “if he wants to pay us and slit his own throat, god bless”.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What lawyers?

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I don’t. All it takes is one juror and it’s a hung jury. He’s already out.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

This one has to be unanimous?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I doubt that any juror is going to be willing to take that much heat when faced with overwhelming evidence. There may be someone that holds out for a while but I’m guessing they all come back guilty eventually. That’s assuming this actually makes it to the hands of a jury (A big “if”).

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I dunno. They’ll think they’re doing it for their messiah.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then the government retries him. Over and over until he is convicted or dies on trial.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Isn’t it illegal to charge someone for the same crime twice? Idk much about courts but I thought this is called double jeopardy.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hung juries and mistrials can be re-tried. Sometimes the prosecution does, sometimes they don't.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His demeanour during this interview was that of a very scared man…

2 years ago | Likes 121 Dislikes 0

$1 says he gets off. hate to say it, but gotta face reality.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

mmmm maga tears are so sweet

2 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

To be fair, his demeanour is ALWAYS that of a very scared man. Just under a veil of hatred/anger/contempt, or attempting to mask it with an extremely superficial level of bravado and "strength".

2 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 0

Good thing the man wears depends because he certainly looks like he's shitting himself

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

The only dependable thing on him...

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What's frustrating to me is there are still two levels of justice. One for average citizens, another for the rich & powerful. If Fed Gov knew an average citizen had +/- 300 classified documents, they would've give the citizen a year to turn them over. Then wait another 5 months to hand over the additional docs that weren't first given over. Then after they find even more classified docs after a raid, wait 10 months to charge that citizen.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Trump took illegally took classified documents and if he had paid a lawyer to go through all his boxes to pull ALL of the classified documents at the first request, there would have not been any criminal charges. No average citizen would be granted same level of privileged.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

An average citizen wouldn't have walked out of their arraignment. "Yeah, no, you have strong ties to fucking *Russia*, you're a bigger flight risk than a flock of starlings. No bail."

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Trump still has his passport & is allowed to travel internationally. "All men created equal" my ass.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is exactly the bullshit I'm salty about.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's what happens when fascism takes over. It doesn't happen in a day. Over years governmental structures are infiltrated and slowly the "machine" produces other outcomes as expected.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

To be fair, there's a lot more than 2 levels of justice. The rich/poor levels are have many sub-levels depending on your race, orientation, age, how the judge is feeling that morning, etc.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Completely fair. Levels of justice is more of a spectrum than just binary rich vs everyone else.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't want him to be fined, he'll only scam that money out of his cult followers, I want him to go to jail.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want him to be fined if the average citizen would be fined. I want him handcuffed & get a mug shot if the average citizen would get handcuffed & a mug shot if they refused to hand over classified documents. If the law is supposed to apply to everyone, it should apply to everyone.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also, fines shouldn't be a flat amount, but based on someone's wealth / income. If Trump can drum up $5m like average citizen drum up $500, then any fine for Trump should be 10,000x higher than the average fine. So if a fine is often $50k, then Trump should be fined $500m.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I agree with you on that, fines don't deter those that can afford them.
