Yeah I mean, I'm a pretty emotionally open person and I've seen that open other men up. I'm mostly saying the first bar for men, the ability to crack through the social barrier, is easier. I guess one problem that you're probably correct on is that extroverted men aren't often the emotionally available ones. Most men want that, though, and I've pretty much always had it warmly received
In my experience men have a very easy time making platonic relationships when that's what we are looking for. Probably easier, honestly, due to societal norms
It being bad in one place doesn't make it good in another

I think we're not seeing the forest through the trees on this topic. Consent comes down to power structure. Did you go out and have a few drinks, and she had a few drinks, and you went home together? Or were you out, and predatorially wait for the one girl black out drunk enough not to say no. We keep losing context with our over-simplifications.
