Glad I could help!
I will have to make a post about the man himself.
I'm glad I can pass it along! My grandpa would be proud that his recipe is getting parties started.
It has made its way to the northeast in that case! Although my grandpa was stationed in Illinois in ww2, so he may have picked it up there!
Thank You! We bought the house for the yard honestly. Can always add on to the size of the house, but can't make more yard.
He was a rad dude. Always had great stories and could crush you in a game of pool...and probably out drink you.
Gonna definitely have to try this next time.
Too much slush the night before. :)
Lot of sailor Jerry style patch work stuff...ill have to post a picture sometime.
I'll never turn down the chance to see some beagles.
It's the reason we bought the house. Acre of fenced yard on the edge of town. Dogs LOVE it
I've seen other people here posting similar recipes using everclear. Unfortunately here in mass they don't sell it...
They're great for when you have a ton of people coming over and need an easy option that isn't beer.
Normally I'm in the same boat, not a fan of the cheap stuff...but have to stay original to the recipe :)
Today I learned something. I always thought it was just the vodka that kept it somewhat unfrozen!
I love doing peppers & onions in the cast iron on the grill...actually using the cast iron for anything!
They could package them and make a fortune. One stop to buy what you need to get drunk and to recover later.
My Grandma's strawberry rhubarb pie is even worse...1:1 ratio of sugar to strawberry/rhubarb. Somehow my grandpa staved off diabetes til 91
Note to self, if posting cooking, always include an alcoholic ingredient to the recipe.
Olives go great as a garnish. Haha! That's what I get for not checking the background before I post :)
He was an awesome dude, and a great party planner, they threw more parties than they're neighbors who had 40 years on them.
I was actually surprised when I saw that logo too...the discount section at the local liquor store. Any cheap plastic bottle vodka will do.
Worth it
Love me some brusselsprouts. I boil them a bit before I cut and fry...makes them softer and even better imo.
I'm jealous of you southerners for the amount of time you get to garden...northeast here and I just put plants in the ground last week.
You're a hero
At least someone is enjoying it.
There will never be a play through that I don't suplex that big iron bastard for no other reason than the hilarity of it.
This is exactly why I stopped skateboarding.
At least with the archers you didn't have to run far to get back, and there was a fire directly after them.
