There are multiple GUI wrappers for .NET Core now. IMGui, QT and a native Windows one.
.NET Core is multi-platform, self-contained, write once run everywhere and is eons better.
Being born on third doesn't mean you still don't need to run to home. There is a difference between "daddys money" and building something.

.NET Core is faster and cross platform, you're going to get a lot of technical debt out of using Java and whatever library you're using.
They provide certificates now that you can download onto your host with PRO which cost $5.
Why pay for certs anymore? Cloudflare and Letsencrypt give you SSL certs without any cost.
Cloudflare also provides free certificates now
Did you really suggest JPG? A lossely compression? You send clients the PSD/AI and a PNG.
Are you connecting to your public ip when doing it remotely? Also you could register a domain and point it at the address
I played Quake Online through the screenshare
The "server" runs on your computer so that you can connect from any browser.
Just install and run it, it will work without port forwarding.
