If anyone sees this and gets this to FP, I solemnly swear to go to bed at a decent hour.

This one is real. This is an EF3 that passed near Gary, SD back in June 2025, that was covered from a bunch of angles by several stormchasers. It's notable in terms of video capture because its hard to get such a clear, low-precipitation, high contrast view of a tornado where it shows its internal structure like this. Way more often than not, the inner structure is obscured by dust, debris or condensate.

Ive seen deer actively flee/avoid skunk'd areas. They may not think "threat" but they do seem to not want to be near it, so they probably would bugger off if an unexplained patch of skunkiness started getting closer. They use their sense of smell to detect predators so I'd imagine the astringent skunk smell messes with that.

Possibly not, as these cars were coming out of a bend in the highway to the straightaway where the accident was. By the time they'd see brake lights, they'd already be coming into the elevated section where the black ice was at speed. If you check streetview on Googlemaps of that spot, you can see buildings, bridges and berms that would have hid brake lights until it was too late.

Approx one block up the street is prime parking space, if it's allowed. People who wanna follow you to keep talking to you tend to rubberband themselves back into the house once you start to get to about a block away

It is definitely about the 'adventures' of the members of a K-Pop band, but that's where the "glorifies celebrity worship and capitalism" resemblance ends.

From the music video for Gold Dust by DJ Fresh. The whole thing is chock full of impressive jump-roping.

As a black person whose family traced their own lineage back to the part of Sierra Leone where slaves were traded, it's possible. Birth, marriage and death records, obits, family history (if anyone bothers to tell it), old photo albums, diaries, and bibles given as gifts etc can fill in a lot of gaps. Before ~1865, plantation stock records too because slaves were property. And before ~1808, shipping manifests trace shipping routes. Will that trace be acknowledged though? Unlikely.

Watch his right hand and knee as he comes up to the top of the bowl where the dog is. They meld and break and reform into limbs just before he drops down.

Why is Lazael in this list? She's not a villian of the story she's in. Shadowheart's antogonist, yeah, but not a villian. Should have picked Orin if going for sexy lady villain from BG3.

You don't just put pure chlorine in a pool. It comes in bonded compounds that allow the product to do different things. One common pool shock compound is calcium hypochlorite, (Ca(ClO)₂) Cl ratio of around 65ish% and it usually comes in a powder. "Everyday" maintenance Cl comes in liquid or dissolving tabs, and is often made of trichloroisocyanuric acid (C3Cl3N3O3). Both are Cl compounds, but formulated for different uses, in this case, quick raising of Cl levels and maintenance of Cl levels.

Chlorine for pool maintenance and pool shock are both made with chlorine, but the pool shock has a higher "dose" per part than "regular" chlorine does. Pool shock is meant to quickly release a high amount of chlorine in water to kill bacteria, algae etc faster. It's not the same stuff you put in your pool for "everyday" maintenance. You use it when a pool needs serious cleaning like after a Code Brown or if it hasn't been maintained in a while like right before pools open for the summer.

Possibly to minimize blood exposure, if it's one that has fed already before getting to you or if you're pulling them of someone else.

If you're a government agency, you need to (or should be) using FedRamp compliant software, if it has cloud capabilities. Acrobat does have cloud capabilities and is FedRamp certified. Are there any free PDF editor alternatives with cloud capabilities that are FedRamp compliant and can dedicate "secure" space in their cloud storage for government documents?

You're right but he doesn't say (or maybe the video just doesn't show) why he gave that answer. He might think it's not recommended because it blocks the hole, he might think it's not recommended because he knows about the hygiene aspect.

But we all know these hot take interview videos are edited to make a point. Cutting off his interview there serves that point. Who knows what he really thinks.

Yeah it's wise to change it after you pee, but the point they were going for is that tampons don't go in or block the hole we pee out of. These guys are absolutely not thinking women can't because of backsplash.

Seems they have been working on things. Things just haven't moved as fast as they wanted them to.

Or, the roads and conditions in that particular area weren't bad, but the neighborhood just had no power, and grandma had no cell battery left to be in contact. If it's just power out, then no, police and fire wouldn't be scrambling to get to her because, compared to an area that was flooded or had extensive damage, and Papa Johns driver would be fine to deliver there.

And then you get the players who roll even when it wasn't called, get a good roll, then insist the scenario they have in their heads MUST be what happened because they rolled an unrequested Nat 20.

I wanted a Husky so bad when I was a child. And now I'm glad the opportunity to get one never came up.

Probably not uncommon in that spot, and not the first big wave of the day. The pavement where those people are walking and standing is already wet.

That's one way to see it, certainly. But until lab stones take over in the diamond market as the more likely stone to find in a store/from a broker, natural stones will retain their value, as abhorrent as the mining and marketing methods are. Besides, a wise investor would have offloaded the natural ones for something else as soon as it appeared their value would irretrievably tank.
