Well this sounds like a real conversation
Sex is a fact (there are males and there are females). Gender is the issue were people get uptight and confused
Gender is the idea of "girls wear pink, boys wear blue, boys are strong etc". Sex is just Y and X, with no implications other then that.
I think you're confused. Gender and Sex are completely different, and you're suggesting we handle them the same way

I'd maybe recommend Rendezvous with Rama, but I don't really get into sci/fantasy. I like Arthur C Clarke though
I'd have to say I liked The Hobbit more then LOTR

I'm glad I read Catcher when I was 17, I don't think it would appeal to me quite the same now that I'm older.
I'd recommend Animal Farm instead. 1984 was too hyped
