Also Henderson area is not too bad, houses are usually on smaller lots near St Rose Pkwy.
Try north west area, Summerlin is a bit pricey but you should be able to find a house to rent not far from there.
I'm in Las Vegas, trust me when I say don't live too close to the strip or north east of the strip.
