someone in my office had some tech problem that i hadn't seen yet and someone else used AI to 'solve' it and it was the worst set of troubleshooting steps i've seen. it started the list with a nuke that demonstrably causes MORE problems than what needed to be fixed. an actual useful and correct suggestion was listed but was like #8 or something. luckily i saw that suggestion early enough to say 'no no no. do not do that.'
